Yoga Flow (Vinyasa) with Anita
Monday & Thursday @ 5:30pm, 2nd & 4th Saturday @ 9:00am
This is a gentle to moderate Vinyasa (flow) class with a compassionate approach. We move slowly and mindfully from posture to posture connecting breath with movement. Class begins with Pranayama (breathing) exercises and gentle stretches followed by asana (physical postures/vinyasa flow) and ending with Savasana (relaxation). Emphasis is on connecting breath, body, mind and spirit and allowing your practice to overflow from the mat into your daily life. All levels welcome, beginner to experienced, modifications will be offered as needed.
Benefits of a yoga practice can include increased flexibility, strength, mental clarity, self acceptance and decreased stress and relief from anxiety or depression.
