Personal Injury Recovery / Rehabilitation Massage

Musculoskeletal dysfunctions are one of the primary reasons people seek medical care. Many of these conditions are results of repetitive micro-trauma, injuries, or accidents. We offer a gentle, natural, and integrative approach to the rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries and musculoskeletal dysfunctions.

When injury occurs, massage provides wonderful benefits during recovery. Cupping therapy is incorporated into rehab massage to help minimize discomfort, as working through any injury can be discomforting. It brings blood flow to the healing area which helps to minimize scar tissue build up.

How will massage enhance my injury recovery?

  • Reduces pain; A massage helps with pain and inflammation.

  • Improve circulation to promote healing; Massage maximizes the supply of nutrients and oxygen through increased blood flow, which helps the body rebuild itself.

  • Reduce scar tissue; Massage influences the excretion of certain fluids necessary for tissue repair.

  • Improve range of motion and muscle flexibility; By stretching connective tissue, massage improves circulation to help prevent or break down adhesions.

  • Shorten recovery time; Massage increases blood and lymph fluid flow, thereby speeding the healing process.

  • Psychological benefits; Having a mind that is relaxed and focused can be an advantage in any recovery process.
